I&#039;d love to have a TTH as a cottage or escape from the city home, I found their designs several years ago. Zoning is a problem though, most places don&#039;t allow less than 600 sq ft for single family structures. My house is 744 sq ft, a 1920&#039;s cottage. I actually have a living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and two bedrooms and a bath in that space. I wrote about appreciating small space living:
